While this website stuff is a little new to us, what we do know about is boats! James' (Delta) Boat and Fiberglass Repair is well known in insurance circles for marine repairs that we've been referred to as simply "James" for some time now. They already know what you will soon know...we know boats and how to fix them properly.
The insurance industry even asks us to speak at some of their fraud prevention conferences - and we're delighted that they think highly enough of us to want us to share what to look for and avoid. It makes sense though, as we've worked with insurance companies for many years now in this field.
What more, we're familiar with the Delta, and the Delta knows us. We have miles upon miles of fabulous waterways here in Northern California, but it can also be quite treacherous. Rising tides and low water flows can cause much debris in the water, many times just below the surface where it isn't that visible, and that's where much damage comes from - when that debris is hit by unsuspecting boaters. We've seen it and the damage it can spell, and it's certainly kept us busy.
You see, we've been Manufacturer trained by the boat companies themselves. And JBR has been fixing and repairing boats for over 35 years, a great deal of it through insurance companies! There isn't much we haven't seen, and that experience means that we can do the job quickly and professionally - so that it is fixed right the first time.
James' Delta Boat Repair does a lot of it, but we don't just do damage and insurance claims. Sometimes folks want to add a nice sound system or upgrade their current boat (have you seen the prices on new ones?) to work well with today's newer equipment. We do complete make-overs too! From simply re-upholstering with new vinyl, to adding towers and stereo systems to a complete paint or gelcoat remake complete with new graphics - we can do it all.
