Recently we had a client with a fishing boat come to us and desiring of a new Bimini top for his vessel. The manufacturer did have a solution, but it was very expensive and lacked the design that would allow this enthusiast to fish from under the cover. Straps were in the way, and the low profile would make it difficult to work with his tackle effectively under cover.
After discussing with him his needs and desires for an effective cover, we took some measurements and went to work. The resulting design we gave him has a very sturdy setup with metal posts (providing more space and a much more sturdy top when up and when motoring to and fro around the waterways. For added functionality, we provided heavy duty zippers (1 in Stainless) to allow access to the bow and also casting forward.
